Typing this on my phone right now, once the computer is loaded ill add the diagnostic tool information. No crash dumps have been able to be saved though. Computer issues in general are slow startups, complete freezing of all programs, and general slowness.

Computer has just completely frozen again so I can't run the tool right now.

I restarted in safe mode and the freezing is happening here too.

I was able to open the diagnostic tool this time but the computer froze midway. I've noticed also if I leave after it's been frozen for a while, the blue screen will occur.

So still can't actually complete the tool use part.

I mentioned before that I tried safe mode. To clarify it was safe mode with networking as well and it's frozen now again. Hasn't blue screened yet but it probably will again.

It just blue screened. Before the blue screen though a box opened saying explorer.exe system error

Getter you have tried. If we are able to see the crash dumps and the other information, it will be easier to suggest you. Anyway, fill up your system specs.
See your system specs and fill it up here.

A stop 0xF4 is mainly a storage related BSOD. But not only the physical ODDs, but some other things affecting the activities of the ODDs are also relates it (like the storage controllers, back/ defrag tools, filter driver of an antivirus program, or even a virus infection). For the lack of data, we cannot check those. ATM suggesting you to do some Disc checks.

  1. Update your SSD's Firmware (Skip it, if you dont have an SSD)
  2. Re-seat the sata and power.
    72974453_zps85c47d93.jpg
  3. Run chkdsk /f/r, following the option two of the tutorial Disk Check
  4. Seatool for dos: SeaTools | Seagate download
    • Burn it in a blank cd. boot from the CD, click on "Accept", wait for it to finish detecting the drives, then in the upper left corner select "Basic Tests", then select "Long Test" and let it run.
    • You can use Win32 DiscImager to create a bootable USB and run Seatools for DOS. Follow this post to know how to make a bootable Seatools USB.
(Note that steps 3 and 4 are not for the SSDs; only for the HDDs)
Let us know when done.

For my system information, nothing major has changed since my previous thread here so maybe all that information is still usable? I used the tool multiple times throughout that thread.

http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-help-support/286890-changing-bsods-startup.html

I'll try all the other things.

Reseated power and Sata.

Chkdsk is stuck at 124076 of 472560 for the past half hour or so in stage 4 of 5.

I ended up just stopping the chkdsk and moved on to the seagates thing. It's currently running the test but it only found one drive.

The test failed
