Back when I was riding my Harley we would call them our Scooters but that was only between Harley riders

Scooters in this country refers to a Vespa or Lambretta (If they still make them). Mods rode them Rockers rode bikes.

Scooters is a Harley rider thing in the US, you wouldn't want to walk up to a Harley rider and call his bike a Scooter unless you own a Harley yourself.
