They are some good temps for 4.7 GHz Tommy :)

These temps are great in this weather it's like 90+ over here no AC on trying to tough it out :p

I don't know how you cope in that heat with no ac. Anything over 25c is too hot for me :p

Well either I cope or pay more for electricity ,It's not to bad at the moment my room is downstairs so it's a little relief compared to the upstairs boiler room aka Living room lol

Hey guys, I got my old passmark performance test thread moved to the overclocking section, a few of you already tried it, but a while back with old hardware. I just set up a small leaderboard in there too for fun.
Have a look here and more details and a download link are on the first page here

Something else to do lol.

Just fire it up and run the test, it will then test each component and give you an overall score at the end, you will want to grab a screen of that before you close it, then you can look at the individual scores.

Edit: I am guessing you will get a pretty low overall score Kelly due to the lack of a GPU.

Hmm... Might have to see what my 680s can do. :D

Will probably have to wait until next weekend to fire it up properly though.

...

Paul, I noticed you took off the voltages from the leader board. Sorry if that was partly my doing. :o

You guys have been busy bumping me down to 10th place. ;)

(Might have to open up the windows this winter to see what I can get... LOL)

I don't think Passmark recognizes more than 1 GPU, I might be wrong but I have no way to test.

No mate, it was nothing to do with you, there were issues with people using offset voltage and CPUz not reporting the correct voltage in the screenshots, it turned into a bit of a nightmare so I decided to put a link to each persons speed instead :)

Just a quick Google search here, but it looks like it will take advantage of SLI & CrossFire in some of the tests. We'll see though.

I'm heading out to play some billiards soon, and of course have to work and whatnot, so unless I get overly ambitious, I'll likely have to wait until the weekend to setup a good OC and run Passmark properly. My PC is tied up doing other things most of the time too.:picnic:

Ok mate, but I know for a fact you are gonna hammer me, your cpu will kill mine, 64GB of ram should score well lol and your GPU's if SLI is recognized will kill my card, I bet you get into the 7000s, maybe more!

Seeing as we have been talking a lot about coolers recently, has anyone heard anything good or bad about the Antec 1220 ?

I am still thinking about what to get next, at the moment it looks like it will be the Thermaltake Water 2.0 Pro as that looks to be the best buy, but I have not heard anything about the Antec 1220.

Edit: Also I saw this which looks really cool, it's kind of like a custom kit but is still like an all in one. It's pretty pricey but I like the idea of it.

Paul.

Yeah looks wise it's great, I bet it performs good, you can change it to a better rad for an extra £13 too. It's expensive but I do like the look of it. Do you know anyone that wants to buy an Antec 1100 and a Kuhler 920 :roflmao:

I had to navigate to the UK version of the Antec page to see what you were talking about Paul. I've never heard of the Antec 1220. I always wondered why Antec didn't have a dual rad system available honestly........but it appears they do. I've never heard hide nor hair of it though. Seems you can't even look at it in the US lol. They should have made a 200mm unit since Antec has such a hard on for big 200mm fans lol.

That makes sense, if it's not available in the States then that's why there has not been any talk of it. I am surprised they have not made it available in the States, I don't know what the thinking is behind that.

Yeah lol, a single 200mm rad and fan, that would do nicely for the roof of our cases eh Kelly:D

Edit: I just did a search for a review on it, looks like it has been out for 5 or 6 months already, it performs slightly better than the 920 which is to be expected.

Thanks Paul. It's a shame it's only 27mm thick. That would be just about perfect if it were the thicker 38mm standard.

No worries.

I keep looking at that custom cooler I linked to earlier, I really like it, I will be ordering my new case at the end of this week, I will have to wait until next month to get a cooler, but I think that custom one would certainly look the part and is a bit different.

What exactly are they reusing from the Cooler Master Eisberg unit? I've heard good and bad things about that particular unit, which is why I asked. I've read several reviews that said the pump was really loud and the mounting solution was less than desirable.

Check this video out:

Actually, after doing some research, it just looks like you can buy the Eisberg Prestige Solo pump, which is what they did. Looks like they use their own fittings, hoses and a choice of two different rads. The one good thing about the Eisberg Prestige all in one unit was the radiator was copper instead of aluminum, but they didn't use it.
