Hello,
I am new to this forum due to a bug with my bass boost. I had some problems earlier with my gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3, Socket-AM3+ and my Tiamat subwoofer not working. Uninstalled Realtek and Dolby to get it working again. Now i have some bass atleast, eventhough i would like to have some more. So i tried to enable bass boost as it worked great in my past.

So here is the problem: If i enable bass boost, after some time, the sounds start going all robotic (noticed it first on skype) and as soon as I disabled bass boost again, everything worked great.

Ask me if you wonder about anything, ill try my best to explain.
Thanks in advance

When the bass goes bad, is it just in the speakers? Does it also sound bad in a headset?

Only my Razer Tiamat 7.1 has the problem yes, however it is weird that it is like this as Razer themselves say this is what is needed to be done (Tiamat is headset, not speakers, however i am currently trying with speakers and it seems to go fine)
Edit: It usually goes bad after 10-30 minutes, so far speakers have stayed on for ran hour without problems. Seems like it only is the tiamat

My pc also seems to start lagging alot when the problem occurs (programs and music start running at X0.7 speed). Still only happens to headset. I have never heard of this problem and could not find anything about it. Sort of hoping you guys know anything

With it "lagging", one thing I see is you have the (dreaded) Kingston Value RAM. That is one of the least desired or recommended memory. The regular Kingston is OK, but I've seen the Value RAM with compatibility problems and even to the point of not working in some. Other tech's that I know have the same opinion on the KVR. It may not be the problem, but one area to be considered.

I don't know if that is the real problem, but its worth a try to see what happens. Eliminate any potential problems.
