I found with my board that disabling C-states and just using EIST is more stable. Not sure if that will work for you.

I have all the C States enabled, I don't know what power features? LLC is on High, I don't seem to have any Manual CPU power.

Just so you know, the highest speed I could get it to boot at was either 5GHz or 5.1GHz (I forget now), any higher speeds done for the purposes of this thread were done inside Windows using Asus TurboV Evo software.

Might try these settings and see what you get Gary.





As for the CPU voltage, change it from offset to manual and enter in a value below it.....such as 1.400. I think you have just hit that spot in your chip where you need a pretty healthy bump up in voltage to get above a certain clock. Definitely turn LLC to Ultra and Current Capability to 140% and see what you get. It should allow you more headroom with your voltage.

In the winter that is not far off mate actually lol.

My PC is in a log cabin in my garden, there is no central heating in the cabin just a small convector heater which I switch on manually.
In the middle of winter when it's minus 10C outside it's pretty much the same temp in the cabin. Ideal for overclocking but not so ideal for the person doing it lol. The little heater will warm it through in 30 mins or so, which is fine.

Nice work Gary. I would suggest not running prime or IBT at speeds close to or over 5GHz, really you ain't gonna run the PC at that speed as a 24/7 so who cares if it's stable.

My new daily OC will do for now readings/bios is a little off since it was 4.4ghz with 1.1v

I ran this voltage several times before but I could not validate. It seems now the weather has cooled down the overclock can go a bit higher. I expect this to will continue the colder it gets.
The voltage is insane, but it goes to show how tough these chips actually are. (Yes I am still typing from my main PC I didn't blow it up...Yet )
