I would suggest you to update Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software and Drivers for Windows 7 for your Intel® Centrino® Wireless-N 1030 from Intel Download Center.

At the same time, Uninstall Avast using Avast Uninstall Utility; at least as a test. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.
Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

Also Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

Let us know the results.

Hi Arc,

Many thanks for the fast reply.

Had upgraded the wireless driver but event log prompts NETwNs64 with Event 8000 and BSOD right after connects to AP directly after the reinstallation of driver; had uninstalled Avast then run MemTest.

The MemTest helped as there is a whole series of errors displayed. Didn't expect this to happen since Dell's PC Doctor didn't detect any memory problems.

However thanks for the cure to the problem and fast replies. Really grateful for having someone to help.

Will contact Dell tomorrow to claim warranty on the RAM.

Good day~!
With regards,
Tham
