Lego Island Xtreme Stunts Problem

Hello all.

I wanted to replay one of my old video games to see if they would work on Windows 7. When I finished installing and tried to play, the first time i got the "game.exe has stopped working" error. Then the 2nd time the loading froze on me. I don't know what i'm doing wrong. Can somebody out there in the crowd help me with this problem?

Try running the game (or the game's installer) in Compatibility Mode for Windows XP: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/316-compatibility-mode.html

uhm i have the problem too did compablity mode on win 7 but after the loading screen it does nothing it disapears and then poof nothing anny more after that i tryed serveral settings but does still not work properly plzz help

First and foremost, you need to fill out your System Specs as this will help us help you further. Second, when asking for help, try to be a specific as possible and as generous with the information... the more information we have, the better.

Go to the manufacturer of your Video and Audio drivers and download their latest drivers for your appropriate cards, save them to a Temporary Folder as we will use them later.

Uninstall the game from Control Panel, restart and go to Safe Mode, once there use CCleaner and clean the system and your registry, when done restart once more and get to the desktop. Let windows install the generic drivers for audio and video.

Now, go ahead and install the game but make sure you do this, first of all, go to the file where the setup is, right click on it and use "Troubleshoot Compatibility", also make sure that you install everything it asks you, like DirectX, etc, etc. The game might ask you to get into it, say no and exit to desktop.

Now, go to the Temp Folder where you downloaded the drivers and right click on the exe file and "Run as an Administrator", let it do its thing and when done, install the other driver the same way. Do not Restart after you install one driver even if it asks you, do so after both of them are done.

After you restart there might be a possibility that it will ask you to restart again, do so and hopefully you will be able to play the game.

If you still can't, let us know what the error or issue is and we can go from here, but at least this way, we got 1 thing out of the way.

os now i got SOME updated drivers not all becuase i cant pay an needed to fine a free version but now i get the code message

Drivers are FREE, if you are getting that error is because you got the wrong driver... you must go to the manufacturer (Nvidia or AMD) and get the drivers from there... all others that offer to do it for free end up not being free

Now, I may be wrong here but what you are doing is trying a hacked cd code for the game, this has nothing to do with drivers and if so... we won't help with Hacked versions of games. If I am wrong, I apologize

well now i fixed the problem with the cd but now the game.exe crashed ops up again can some one help i know i have maybe been a bit rude but i apologise if thats how you say in i have the orginal game here my self

No need to apologize, this is perhaps a language barrier problem... you say you have the good drivers, did you download them from Nividia, AMD direct or how did you install them?

Looking at that image again, there is something confusing, and again, perhaps is just the translation but it seems like you are trying to install a different version of the game with your serial?

nothing it starts searching for a solution and says game exe crashed
but found a program for the drivers thats called diver max thats how i installed the orginal drivers

fixed some problems again but now after the loading screen i get nothing no even an error message

now i got it running but after loading screen on the desktop comes no game nothing not even a crash report or some thing no error message just nothing

Those applications that tell you that you have to pay them in order for them to update your drivers are pure scam, again, drivers are FREE, you just got to take some time and find them so you can install them manually. You are still missing some options for the System specs (32 or 64bit win 7, audio?, etc) so I can't give you a specific link but I will give you the general link.

AMD Graphics Drivers & Software Here you can find your specific driver for video

If you have realtek audio, you can go here to download your driver... Realtek from here you choose AC97 or HD

You may also have a SoundMax... Sound Max Drivers & Downloads - Sound Max

Or finally, VIA drivers... VIA Drivers Download - VIA Technologies, Inc.

Realtek are the most popular... unless of course you have a dedicated sound card, then you must go to their website.

Google CCleaner and download it on a Temp Folder that you can get to it later (install it immediately after saving it), save the drivers on this folder as well. Go to Control Panel/Programs and Features and Uninstall your game completely, also your Audio and Video drivers but do not restart yet, do so after the last driver is uninstalled.

Restart but go to Safe Mode instead of normal desktop, pressing F8 after post usually does the trick but this will depend on your Bios. Once at safe mode, open up CCleaner and run the Cleaner and then run the Registry cleaner as well.

Restart, once you get to the desktop, give it a few minutes because wind 7 will install the generic drivers for Audio and Video, it is ok to let it happen. If it asks you to restart, go ahead and do so. Once you are back, get to the folder you salved the drivers and Right Click on one of the .exe files (uncompress first if you got a zip or rar file), as soon as you Right Click on it, use "Run as Administrator" and install the driver completely, do not restart if ask... do the same (exactly the same) with the other driver, once that is done, restart and restart again if and when prompt. Now install the game in Custom mode so you get to choose or have more options, if the game asks you to install DirectX, let it do so and whatever else it needs to install, do not interfere with the installation in any way. READ BEFORE PRESSING THE ok OR cancel BUTTONS.

This should take care of your drivers and game install... hopefully, you'll be able to play now.

ok i did all that you d say but still game.exe stopped working.
but i saw a youtuber had installed it on the normal program files and not it the x86 folder
an he did only run it as admin and nothing else how i dont know but with me is it not working

and if i set the destination to there the folder is empty and set in the files are in the x86

I am sorry, it is not that I don't want to help you is that my knowledge only goes this far and I can not offer you any other solution.

All I can tell you is that Win7 knows where to put the installation and unless this is not a true 64bit application, the installation will go to the x86 Program Files folder.

ok thanks for the help you at least tryed it so i great fully thank you for the help you could give
