GTA: V is by far the best GTA game, the characters are so funny; especially Trevor, almost everything he does and says just makes me want to laugh.

From what I've seen Rockstar went just WAY over the top with this game. I can understand they wanted to make the biggest GTA game ever but... I've heard horrible things about the storyline. Is it as bad as GTA4?

GTA V has a better story than IV imo. Far more diverse and interesting. But each to thier own. For every hater there are ten who don't. A lot of it seems to be "I waited so long and it's not what I wanted so I'll bag it".

"Over the top" is not a bad thing, since it's meant to make you laugh or go "lol, that's cool etc". Besides GTA's main storyline should be seen as a bonus and not as the reason to play it. Over the top and fun is what GTA is meant to be be. Flapping about doing your own thing when you want, how you want, is what it's about. If playing a movie is your bag, there's plenty of other games that can accommodate.

If there's any real issue with the game it's that the police are far too responsive/restrictive. You can barely fart in V without getting a wanted star and police attention. That aspect is detracting from the overall anti-social fun ethos of it.

I didn't really like GTA IV to be honest, I never actually brought it, but borrowed it from my step brother and then went and completed the story etc.

I went and brought GTA San Andreas after completing GTA IV, because I felt San Andreas had a much better missions and offered much more gameplay.

The police are abit too responsive, but in some ways, I liked that because it made the game more realistic but then again it's extremely irritating if you just want to shoot a couple of pedestrians or something.

GTA V is the only GTA game I've played so far without activating any cheats at all, I'm quite proud of myself

That's exactly why I asked, since "over the top" and "cool" being used in the same sentence is pretty much restricted to Saints Row 4 in my book xD

But I guess I should check out some gameplay videos until the game gets to the PC platform.

And personally I think better police responsiveness is good, makes you actually think before you whip up that gas bomb, you know xD

Naaah the story is awesome my elder brother playing usually he doesn't play many games but who ever played GTA V they lovin' it even in my gaming zone 100's of customers who played it none of the said anything bad about GTA V they all said it's one of the best games they ever played

Oh yeah,i blew off my uni for it,got home and remembered i didnt have my GPU It wouldnt even load,so heavy. I can play BF3 on 720p with medium settings without a GPU and get 25-30fps but did not expect this,was hoping at least it would start. Enjoy you lucky people

When I started Metro Last Light I got really excited as it has great graphics and I thought the gameplay was amazing but later now after playing it from last several days the gameplay is definitely questionable as the game has become way too repetitive same enemies, same creatures, same behavior not to mention the game is infected with several bugs from Crashing, Hanging, NPC's Freezes although it does look pretty good. The gameplay is now more frustrating then ever and changing the filters for masks especially when you have to find them and they're no where to be found out in the city levels is more then pain in the ass. SPOILER ALERT! also when you meet the Dark One and he keeps following you he simply doesn't help you beside showing you something like Heat Vision to detect enemies in few places which is useless where on the other hand during load screens Artyom tells the Khan wants to use the Dark One to stop the war as Dark One can do miracles! ok if he can do miracles why he just don't kill all those f**kin' Mutants running for you to kill you? When we could go into the past by swimming in the River of blah blah so why not this? where are we going? there are so many questionable things in game regarding the story as well the gameplay issues. TBH IGN gave it a correct Score and GameSpot gave it a solid 9/10 which is just too much.

Well just finished Metro Last Light after several days played couple hours after getting home from work in past several days. Final Battle was fun and finally it's over now. Time to play FC3 now!

Oh, yeah, FC3 is smexy as hell!

Unlike Rage! What the hell is all the rage with Rage anyway? lol
I remember them boasting about HD textures and crap, but the game just looks okay. AND I'm running everything on high on this little laptop (just check my specs, lol)

The story is meh, the guns are all awful, the most efficient combo seems to be the shotgun+crossbow/sniper

I haven't enjoyed a game as much as FC3 for a long time, probably going back to Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare. It's a great game that just gets the better the more you play it. I've clocked over 40 hours so far and there's still masses to do.

I'm playing Divinity 2 for no other reason than I haven't before and it's been sitting on my HDD forever from when I picked it up during a sale a while back along with Risen and Risen 2. Not bad, it's kind of Fable meets Oblivion. I'll give it a runthrough, but probably won't play it again.

Also, Shadow Warrior, which is epic. Kind of an Asian themed Serious Sam with better jokes and a more coherent storyline. It's very loud and messy and has freshly released free DLC that allows you to clean up the mess you make of a level if you want by giving you a mop and a furnace. Runs on the Serious Engine 3 like SS3 so it doesn't look spectacular, but not bad either.

Very bright and colorful, lots of interesting enemies, and even more interesting weapons. Though, the Katana is the most epic of the bunch and useful throughout the game. Has an upgrade system for weapons and abilities of course, as well as a combo meter that encourages you to mix up killing techniques ala DMC.

I play Divinity when it's too late to play Shadow Warrior because of the noise it makes or when I'm not in the mood for something quite so fast paced.

Got to say that SW is one of my favorite shooters in a long time. Also, in case you've played the original and didn't care for the humor like a lot of other people, they fixed the racism. It's still funny in my opinion, but backs off the more offensive racist humor of the original. Don't get me wrong, it's still offensive and disgusting in it's own way, but not because of racism anymore.
