Ditto...once you get past first twenty or so minutes the movie start to take off and really gets better and better as goes along. The acting by the lead character excellent. What makes this movie different is that aliens had no special powers which made it more believable in my humble opinion. :geek:

I saw District 9 way back when - it was really a good movie, the special effects were definitely good, but just as good was the cinematography - the film achieved a very well honed balance between the two.

Part three of this series is gonna be Return to District 9....:p

Loved the movie but I also had an epic headache throughout the last half of the movie so I will have to get it on blue ray when it get out to see what I had missed.
