At the 29th day, you should "REARM" it for 30 more days.

You can have 3 "Rearms" in total for 90 days, + the initial 30-day period = 120 days...

Do a search here on SevenForums for more info... :)

I've got the RTM release at work and have it activated thanks to a MSDN subscription. I'm playing completely by the book at home, so haven't bothered yet to move from RC1 to RTM as I don't want to do the re-arm trick over and over again. I've got a voucher for a Free Win7 upgrade from my recent computer purchase, and I'm registered for the launch program (oct 7) where they are giving away a free copy of Win7.

Windows 7 RTM

:sarc: hello, I am asking this because somehow I was under the impression that the Windows 7 v7600 was going to be able to be downloaded as the final version to be used until 8/2010.
I have had Windows 7 on this computer starting from the BETA to the RC which is good till 8/2010 (I Think).
The Operating System seems to work great, I have not had any issues what so ever.
I somehow read an article that the RC users would be able to download the RTM and use it until 8/2010, Is this true, I have not been able to find any sight (trust worthy sight) that showsany kind of download unless you are a certain kind of paying subsciber and most of them will cost you more than what the operating system is worth.
Is there a secure sight that you can download from???

Here's some coolness. I bought a laptop and registered to get myself a free copy of Win7. Then I found out the laptop had hardware issues and had to return it for a new one. Now I have two free copies on Win7 coming my way in October, plus my Technet copies.

I'll get it from MSDNAA as soon as I finish signing up to university. My "home machine" and my "development, educational and research machine" are the same computer, so of course I will also use it for everyday use. I don't think anybody will ever be unhappy with that. Actually, the RC too was for testing purposes only, but Microsoft stated more than once that just using it everyday is testing it and helps Microsoft by sending data. And using the RTM everyday is a very educational way of learning to use it. :)
