Also nice ones Mike! Although I'd use a slightly more bolder font and tone the neon down a bit. Or what you could also do is create a new layer on top of the text, make a selection of the text, shrink that a few pixels, fill it with a random color, make the fill 0 and use that as a base of for the neon glow That's what I did in my sig (although I made my glow very small).

If you create a composite layer from all visible layers then when you resize it will do so in proportion.

I'm not seeing Composite as an option but there are many ways to make a new layer for adjustments,
Can you give some more details on which is a composite or which Icon to use I'm to green at this

I adjusted the outer grow I believe it's what resize had the most issues with=Unfortunately that file didn't have the border around it so back to square one on that :banghead:

Here's what I got

Resized to 650x150 with transparent background:


Most of the time if you have a problem with resizing it's because you are trying to resize the actual Photoshop / GIMP file, and if you do that it will also try to resize all the layer styles and effects. It's best to first save the file as a .png and then resize that one.
That being said, I noticed that the size of your file is 2766x383. When making a signature it's best to choose a size that easily can be resized to 650x150, such as 2600x600 or 1300x300. That way it will resize without deforming the sig.

EDIT:
Downloaded your ver. as a .jpeg file, assumed that you saved it as that, but after removing the background and attempting to upload a transparent one I noticed that SF changed it from .png to .jpeg. Dunno if you made a jpeg or a png, but I attached a zip containing the regular size and the 650x150, both with transparent background

EDIT EDIT:
To add to Keith's advice, to my knowledge GIMP doesn't have the option to create a composite snapshot. In Photoshop however, you can do that by hitting SHIFT+Ctrl+Alt+E at the same time.
FFR, are you using GIMP of Photoshop, Mike?

Sorry. It is Layer->Merge Visible (CTRL-SHIFT-E) in Photoshop. Layer->New From Visible in GIMP.

Keith, I personally think that merging the layers will affect the chance of future edit-ability of the PSD. I think the best way is either place a blank layer on the top of all layers and then Image > Apply image; or save the large sized png and then resize it.

Nick taught me to do the second option all the times.

Special Effects

This probably won't make any sense at all, but I am going to pass it on anyhow.
I had a file that I was having problems with sizing. I noticed that when I focused on the object the sizing handles were way removed from the object. (due to a special effect I had applied) I simply trimmed the whole drawing back to the intended size and the problem went away. The special effects remained as they were intended.

You might try it by selecting all objects and then cropping the drawing to 2600x600 or something like that and exporting and resizing while exporting.
