Hi sevenforums

At my wits end. After running and passing every single test I can find I'm at a loss as to why my new rig bombs a few mins into playing Arma 2 / DayZ standalone.

. I ran Memtest 86+ and completed 4 passes
. Finished the Burn-in test on Furmark
. Finished Prime95... err
. Ran Chkdsk /R on Sata and SSD

After reading a similar post the only thing I can think of is my Belkin Wireless N has slightly ropey drivers but I have the right version installed according to the website.

have filled in my systems specs but didnt have an option for psu so here it is.

Hi kooper35.

A stop 0x124 is usually a hardware failure, and in your case it is accompanied with display failure.
Code:
BugCheck 124, {0, fffffa8007975028, bf800000, 124}

*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nvlddmkm.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nvlddmkm.sys

Are you overclocking? As you are getting BSODs, you should stop overclocking and run all the hardware components like CPU, GPU and RAM to their default settings.

Check if the Power Supply Unit (PSU) supplying adequate power to the computer or not.
eXtreme Power Supply Calculator
Also let us know the wattage of the PSU.

Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy. Alternatively, you can publish a Speccy snapshot too: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/311593-speccy-publish-snapshot-your-system-specs.html .

Stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark.

Let us see a screenshot of the furmark screen, before you close it.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.
If it start showing errors/red lines, stop testing. A single error is enough to determine that something is going bad there.

Stress test the CPU.

About the display driver .... unfortunately all available versions applicable to a GTX 760 are somehow unstable. But if situation demands, this driver is also need to be alter, after getting the results of the tests.

Let us know the results.

I've not overclocked anything on my system. its all running at stock, I have noticed on 'core temp' that my cpu seems to throttle back and at times goes all the way up to 4.3Ghz

Extreme calculator: I need 554w psu (so 800w is fine)
Furmark just bombed, gpu1 leveled off at 77'oC and gpu2 @ 80'oC but got a bsod at around 40% through test.

Not had time to run Prime95 just yet as my daughter is blagging my head :D and a full night of memtesting is off the cards as my wife is ultra paranoid about devices being left on :| 4 clean passes isn't enough?

Before running memtest or prime95, furmark gives us some significant information.

If it BSODs during the stress test, the GPU is faulty and needs to be replaced. Whenever it will feel a stress, it will cause BSODs.

I don't mean to bring up an old thread but after disabling the apparently faulty graphics card which bsod'd everytime I ran furmark and running off a single gtx 760 I managed to run off an entire furmark burn-in.

I've had a couple of weeks bsod free then all of a sudden 2 in one day. I forget what I was doing for the first but the second occured about 3 hours into a game of DayZ (standalone). I checked 'BlueScreenView' and it appers to be another 0x124 error code :/

Is it plain unlucky to order 2 faulty graphics cards off OC or has it something to do with the first still being attached to the system in sli?
