I can't see that installing Windows frequently would cause any problems with a hard drive.
If you install it correctly you really should not need to reinstall it.

That is no problem. A reinstallation is no more strain then running any other program.
But why would you want to reinstall frequently - Because of the 30 day activation limit ??

Once you get a perfect install as shown in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7
then save a Win7 backup image so you never have to reinstall again.
This is the modern way to handle reinstalls.

Hmm, how would that be different to any other R/W operations. I really doubt that the SSD would be seriously damaged. It may shorten the lifecycle a bit because of the amount of R/W operations during an install.

I don't know Wolfgang, they said this during getting a SSD replaced under warranty. The R/W had dropped to less than 20% of when it was new.
They also said it helps to let the SSD be just on power, no SATA cable, to do its clean up, a.k.a. garbage collection, I think. This likely only applies to the M4 series though and not other SSDs.
