I think it does? If I'm reading this right, the PSU has a 20+4 pin and 2 6+2 pin PCIe cords.

It sounds like from Intel's site on the i7-900 series, the PSU should link up?

check to see if your mobo is a 4 pin cpu power connector or 8pin.

that would be 8 pin. lol. alright so you are all good to go. EVGA 600w psu and vaporx 270x rite?

Do you think it's worth waiting for the price to come down on the 270x? I'm wondering if I should cool off and see how it runs on the 13.12 drivers, and unlocking the cores, etc. I don't mind playing on medium settings if the stutters would go away.

i say update the drivers. try it. if it still stutters, get the 270x.

Played the campaign at my friends, had a few days off and plenty of time, no Honey DO list thank God... Graphics were ok, destruction is good but I couldn't get immerse in the plot, barely understood it, don't think it was because of my headsets or volume, I was just kinda going through the motions not knowing what to do or where to go.

The few occasions where apparently you have to, want to or can go stealth, you either have to do it with your knife only as there are (or could not find) a suppressed weapon in my arsenal. I also couldn't get all of the weapons, which means that I am going to have to go through it again (not that I am complaining mind you) in hopes to get all the weapons. I also don't see a reason to have sniper rifles, you will barely get to use one.

My teammates have a mind of their own, which normally, this is good but, when I am trying to be stealthy and they decide to run in front of the armor tank I am trying to avoid while shooting at enemy ai, well... lets just say that it is to bad you can't shoot them so you can finish the map solo style!

Ok, it may seem like I am complaining, which I am but in a good way I think, I so wanted more from this game that perhaps I have more gripes than I should. The ergos of the weapons were good but because of how I use the mouse/kb combo I was not able to use the Binocs all that much, and when I did... I did it wrong

Dude, or anyone else. Help I'm stuck in the campaign mode. I've beat it already, but I'm at the part where you blow up the Dam. The OSD keeps telling me to press 3 to detonate the bomb. When I press 3 it brings up a grenade launcher. I've pushed every key on this board and every mouse button I have. Will somebody tell me how to detonate the darn bomb.

I've not done that part of the campaign yet chap but just watched a walkthrough and as long as you have C4 in your kit you can just use the scroll wheel or "3" Key to bring up the C4 n left click to detonate.

Thanks Ryan, that's my problem, I don't have C4. So, how did I manage to place the bomb to begin with. I guess I'll have to replay the whole mission to make sure I have some C4 at the end. Sounds like a glitch in the game, to me

You'd think that it would have C4 in your kit by default if the mission depends on it wouldn't you.

Sorry, just noticed this. You can get C4 at the beginning of the mission. C4 and mines are located near the crashed helicopter on the right in the supply cache.

Yea, I know I just didn't get it. But, I don't think the game should let you place the C4 if you don't have any and no way to detonate it, or you should have it by default. Seems like it should be one way or the other to me. So, I get to play the whole darn thing over again. I mean really, how can you place the charge with something you don't have and no way to detonate it. I think it's a flaw in the game.

Yes, that is a definite flaw.

IIRC, you go into the damn shooting your way in, somehow get inside and stop at the other end of it, one of your guys tells you to place the C4 in one of the columns or something, and it also glows a bit (I believe), after you do so you will start to head out and when you get to a certain point (safe distance) it tells you to detonate... Again, IIRC it took some time to detonate, you know, they make it seem like a bad cliffhanger movie part where it won't explode but all of sudden it does?

Thanks AstaLaVista, That's pretty much right as I recall. I have completed the campaign completely already. But, the screen hints say to press 3 to detonate the C4. When I push 3 it brings up a grenade launcher which happens to be my gadget #3. I have cycled through the whole arsenal and I have no C4 or any detonator. Trust me, I've replayed the same scene probably 100 times over about 3 days and have tried every key and mouse button I have and even tried combinations of keys. I have no clue at this point. I see it as a flaw in the game because you can't detonate the C4 without the C4 trigger. Besides, if I don't have C4 how did I set the bomb to begin with and there is no where to change weapons between setting the bomb and fighting your way to the point to detonate it, I don't think.

OK, I'm finished and found the 'secret', as soon as the scene starts ther is a green ramp to your left. Irish and Hanna run over it and it blows up. You have to get over it and go to exactly where Irish and Hanna are, then pushing 3 brings up the detonator. I had tried going over it about 4 times, but every time I made the turn I blew up and died. I guess timing is everything. Unless you are in the exact right spot, you can't blow up the damn dam (pun intended).
