We are expected to have snow flurries Tuesday , I think this will be from our TX friends to our west.

Bridges iced up on Friday night. 'Wintry mix' on two nights and a day this coming week. I see different days/nights mentioned by different weather services.

Weather could get worse than last week. Over 10 nights below freezing this winter here, very very unusual.

Freezing rain, sleet, snow along the Gulf of Mexico starting Tuesday morning. Might last until Thursday. This across Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and panhandle of Florida.

Offices and schools closing.

Mayors in Louisiana saying stay off the roads. 24F on Tuesday morning. 18F predicted for Wednesday morning.

For some areas, that may not be bad, but for down here, its a major disaster. No equipment nor training on dealing with it. Sand will be spread on the bridges.

High today (Friday, Feb01) 26° forecast 39° for Saturday with rain....freezing rain....sleet....on top of 2" of "possible flurries".

You'll be needing a sauna ( greenhouse ) to get those tomato seed ready to sprout this spring.

Yeah, we have a mini-greenhouse so I'll likely start some about mid April. Maybe just it the house under a grow light too.
