Solved USB installation error 0xc000014c

Hello!
I recently wiped my computer hard drives and created a boot up USB to reinstall the OS. I have used this method before and it worked then.
However, this time when booting from the USB the computer showed this error:
"Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:
1. Insert your windows installation disc and restart your computer.
2. Choose your language settings, and then click "next"
3. Click "repair your computer".
If you do not have the disc, contact your system administrator or computer manufacturer for assistance.
File: \Boot\BCD
Status: 0xc000014c
Info: An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data."
I have tried rebooting from the USB numerous times and changed the start up order around, but neither could fix this error. The computer is an Acer desktop and I am installing Windows Home Premium x64 Service Pack 1. I have no access to an installation disc. Is there a way to fix this?

I had the same issue when I was with a client.

You need to get a program that will make your computer think your USB is an .iso
Windows provides a stable program to do this.

Microsoft Store

Make your USB as a bootable drive with the program mentioned above, make sure your flashdrive has a minimum
of 4GB free space, don't forget to format it also.

It is a bootable drive created with the USB download tool. I have used it before, successfully.

Hmm, format the drive then burn the .iso onto the flashdrive again.

Yeah, seems like a good idea. I thought maybe the USB files were corrupted. If no one else offers a simpler solution (as I do not own any other computers and will have to use a friend's) (I am on a mobile device) I will go and do that.

The error means the HD is attempting to boot, bypassing the flash stick installer.

Start with a new ISO for your licensed version written to flash stick with tool also provided in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7. Those steps will also assure you get and keep a perfect install.

Set the HD to boot first in BIOS setup, set SATA controller to AHCI, save Changes and Exit.

Reboot and tap the Acer F10 or F12 key for BIOS Boot Menu, choose flash stick under USB, Removable or HD's.

Use Wintobootic to burn the iso to the flash drive, it works perfectly, everytime.

Got a new iso off another computer and installed with a new USB. Computer working fine now, though I don't know what might have caused the original iso to go corrupt. Thanks for all your help.
