Solved Win 7, Home Prem or Norton 360 to Make BU & Restore?

I am sorry to repeat this question, but most of the responses are from several years ago. On the chance that something has changed, I am wondering which is Better/Safer/Simpler to Use? As you can see, I have a 1T HD and two external drives (330gb & 1T).

Macrium Reflect Standard.

(1) "system image" backups, multiple generations in target folder

(2) "data" folder/file backups, FULL + INCREMENTAL, multiple generations

(3) standalone boot CD or USB for true disaster recovery restore of "system image" backup, or convenient Boot Manager menu item if hard drive is still usable

(4) automatic space management "grooming" to delete old generations

(5) active vendor support

(6) very reasonable price

Why, have you tried the others to see what they offer, or do you not bother and just keep doing the same thing ?

I started the whole macrium thing back on Vista Forums years ago, it was the best thing around at the time.

It is always worth trying new things, sometimes they are awful, like windows 8.

Sometimes they are better than what you were using previously, like Backupper is.

AOMEI is certainly worth trying. It is easy to use and works well on 64bit systems. On 32bit systems there is still some work in progress.

I am a Macrium fan too, but it never hurts to have options.

I have used Macrium since years and I have tried Backupper. It is a nice little program with an easy UI and a few nifty features. For somone who is not sold on a particular solution, it is certainly a good option (for 64bit).

Btw: I think SIW2 knows both inside out. Don't question his authority in that field.
