New LG brand DVD player purchased. My previous DVD had a ATA? ribbon connector and a 4 pin Molex power connector. The new LG has a SATA interface and next to that what looks like a long "L" shaped plug in for power? What adapter can I buy to convert a 4 pin Molex to the new DVD? Should I look for a Molex to ??? male or female (# of pins)? If someone would give a description or a link to purchase the needed adapter I thank you.

OK so the bad boy is a male 15 pin that supplies the power and a regular SATA cable for info transfer?
Got to go to bed now before I start trying to sing.
Thanks again.

I swear I had deleted the wrong one. Obviously, I DO need to go to bed!
Use the one that I didn't delete. For some wacky reason, the one I deleted (finally) has a male SATA power connector which is wrong (go figure). And yes, use a regular SATA data cable for info transfer.

You'd think the pc brigade (as in politically correct) would have rapped our knuckles years ago for using male and female jargon. And then there's master/slave . . .

Lady Fitz, I jumped the gun and ordered this one before I got your links. Do you think this one will work?
I chose the double for when I replace my old CD drive in the future.
