WHAT IS UP With Flash 12.0.0.70

I'm using the latest version of the Nightly browser, and the latest ver. of Flash, and I keep getting crash error msgs from the Flash script. How do I resolve?

Drop back a level on each, one at a time though. Wait for a fix in a later release?

Check plugins

How many browsers are installed? If more than one and especially if you've also installed Chrome:

In your browser's address bar type aboutlugins

Then check to see how many .dll's are listed. If there's more than one - disable so that only one is active.

You should see something like:

File: NPSWF64_12_0_0_70.dllPath: C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF64_12_0_0_70.dllIn other words - just a single .dll

If you've got Chrome installed post a reply and I'll add more detail.

I only have Nightly browser, 64Bit (30.a1). .dll's? Sorry for the large font. Couldn't change it.

So there's no internet explorer or other browsers? You should see something like this:





Other than that try fully removing flash player then reboot before installing it again.

Here's how - it's best to follow ALL of the steps listed.

Uninstall Flash Player | Windows

And check for any flash blocker that you might have installed (noscript and the like).

Adobe flash is a shocker these days. Their forum is awash with problems primarily concerning video playback which they show no inclination to tackle. 11.5 was the last decent version that didn't stutter or crash in some way. I'd roll back to that (albeit) not as secure until they get their shoddy act together
