Where are my pictures???

I just updated to a new computer. I have access to the old hard drive still but I cannot find any of the pictures, music or videos I had on them. They were located I the libraries of my old hard drive. Where are they and how can I find them?

You should be able to find them in a folder called Users, which should listed on your old hard drive under C drive, if your old drive was partitioned into more than one partition.

... of course they are also to be found on the external HD (or cloud) you use for doing regular backups... ?

Since you mention libraries I will assume your old system was also Windows 7.

Depending on how many folders you had linked to your libraries, there are a few places to look.

Default folders are usually,

C:\Users\(user-name)\(My Pictures, My Music, My Videos)

C:\Users\Public\(Public Pictures, Public Music, Public Videos)
