Is it possible to glue and move open windows together?

Basically, I am looking for one of these desktop and window tweaking utilities that will let me glue several windows to let Windows 7 (64-bit) treat them as one.

That includes: 1) resizing the glued windows together, 2) moving them together, 3) minimizing and maximizing them together, and 4) switching to and from them together (the most important part).

I often open documents side by side to write to one while using the other as reference, and it's too annoying whenever I need to switch away and back to them to switch to them individually instead of in 1 action.

Do you know of any existent software that can do that? Thanks in advance.

PS - I just found some Chrome plugins that allow opening 2 web pages or more in 1 window, separated by frames. That's a great solution when using Google Docs and webpages, but I'd still appreciate it if anyone found a solution for for other types of windows.

The closest solutions I have found are 3rd party file browsers that have split-browsing, and Chrome extensions that do the same, but neither of them is a perfect solution.

Using a 3rd party file browser in addition to Windows' default Explorer might be a hassle, and Chrome's extensions looked really ugly (back when I tried them) when each side of the split window had its own link-field in addition to the 3rd master one, while none of the extensions had independent per-side navigation controls!

You can drop your applications into a single frame and move them around together with TaskSpace:
TaskSpace: don't waste your time on Alt+Tab switching
About TaskSpace:

TaskSpace is a simple Windows application intended to group ANY applications in a single window(task space) to provide fast and easy access to multiple applications simultaneously(no Alt+Tab switching and/or searching for a program in the taskbar is required).

Features:

- attach ANY window to the TaskSpace box(drag & drop)
- unite boxes as tabs(drag & drop)
- collect different applications in a single box(see screenshots)
- save/load TaskSpace configurations
- intelligent alignment/adjustment for applications when box resized
- management from the system tray(create new box, switching, exit)
- themes support
- installation is not required

OS Requirement: Windows XP and higher.
