Hi there, I have recently found my c drive making a clicking sound and refuses too boot up window 7. When I locate the drive after a while in my computer it only shows up as system reserved..66.1mb of 99mb..The drive is a 320 Gb Toshiba sata...I have tried too access the data using a data recovery tool but it says not accessible...Can it be done any other way? if so how and is it worth it? Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated..

Regards

Well, unfortunately; if its making a clicking sound; chances are the hard drive is on its way out. I hope you have backed up anything important; as chances are you probably will have to replace the hard drive. There may possibly be another way to access the data; but you may have to resort to going to a data recovery company that specializes in recovering data.

Did you remember to run windows update after installing the o.s. etc? If not; make sure to do that so that you get the most up to date drivers.
