Good day to all.
Some time ago I decided to fit a new SSD on my windows 7 home premium,It took a little while to do the job as WHS on this forum led me all the way through the process. It all went well in the end.
Now this morning I had a slight hitch with the computer so I decided to go for a ''System Restore'' well I was shocked to find out that the system was set to off,So there was no later date that I could go back to.
Reading up on google I noticed that if there is a SSD fitted you don't have the option for a system restore to an earlier time,I found that method very handy sometimes if there was a small problem with the computer.
So now what would be the best option for this system as google info says that with an SSD system restore should be set to off.
If I had another occasion that I needed to revert back to a day or so,What would I be able to do.Is there any way around this for future reference.??.
Or am I up against the wall if I need to go back to an earlier date?.
Many thanks,I do hope that this may be solved.
