Browser
Pale Moon 64bit, IE11 64bit & Chrome 64bit

That did the trick. Both of the files are gone! I'm not sure how it worked because I got an error saying the file could not be located or something along that lines but when I closed the window the one on the desktop was gone. So I tried it again with the file that was in documents. This time I didn't get an error message it just went back to C:users\AMS\documents but the file was gone. There was never a yes or no option for deleting either of them but it seemed to work. Thank you so much and thanks to everyone else that tried to help! I really appreciate it!

Great! Thanks to UsernameIssues for the solution.

You should really uninstall those programs that you downloaded if they're of no use - particularly Broken Shortcut Fixer.

It happened to me sometime, pressing F5 (refresh) solved the problem.
For some reason sometime windows don't updated the file list
and the file appear to be there but it is not.

if the problem persist with F5 what happens if you reboot?
