Memory management BSOD - rarely, usually while playing games

Hi,

First time posting, hopefully I've provided enough information.

Custom built PC, Intel Core i5-2400, 8gb ram, GeForce GTX 550 Ti, 128gb samsung SSD for boot/windows

I've been getting memory management BSODs throughout the year, sporadic enough for me to just deal with it. However, I got a random BSOD that wasn't a memory management one, but it closed before I could read it. Hopefully it's within the zip file.

I am planning on running memtest, but I just want to make sure there isn't a rogue application. I ran a malware bytes and windows defender full system scan, malware bytes got 2 things and deleted them, but I got a mem management BSOD after that.

I was about to add try tis if you are going to do a memtest

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.htmlthis one you will need to make a bootable disk set the BIOS to optical (or USB if preferred) boot the machine and let it run for at LEAST 8 passes unless the errors come up straight away. Takes a fair time to complete and some leave it running overnight.
If you do get errors and have more than one stick then you will need to test each one separately and maybe even in the separate slots.

Thanks for the quick response.
I ran sfc scannow and desk check on my 3 drives, and nothing came up for them. I ran malware bytes scan, it caught some things but they are not serious, and deleted them. However, I BSODed again to memory management even after this.

I also ran adwcleaner, which removed some bloatware. I will run memtest overnight, and get back to you!

Good and remember at least 8 passes unless the errors come up straight away. Then you will need to check again on the sticks one by one and maybe even in the different slots
