Recently bought a Dell Optiplex 3010 with the following:

Core i5
6GB Ram
Intel Graphics
64-bit OS; Windows 7

I use ZERO ram-intensive programs (basically Exchange-based Outlook, a CRM system and Chrome).

The computer takes 5-7 to fully start-up and its generally very slow.

Any tips/help is greatly appreciated?

What is a "CRM system"?

Did it boot up and run slow from the start? or only after you added your programs?

Does the OptiPlex (which is a business model) have the Dell Recovery Partition, like the "consumer" model PC's do? If it does and it ran OK initially, I would really consider a complete reinstall back to the original factory condition.

If it ran slow from the start, and it was purchased from Dell, it wouild be best to contact them as only Dell support can do any warranty.

Client/Customer Relationship Management

I bought it off Ebay so really have no recourse...although I have a one year warranty so maybe I will look into that.

Its only slow on Start-Up and ive checked my start-up-programs roster and there is nothing too heavy listed there.
