Solved New RAM, PC keeps restarting, freezing

Hello guys,

I bought new rams to my pc, becouse the old ones were faulty. When I first installed them as dual channel, everything went fine till the Windows loading screen, it stopped working after a few seconds, only thing I could do was hard reseting my pc. When I tried to use only one of the sticks, the pc keept restarting (it prints memory testing as OK, but not my memory frequenzy). Is it possible that my motherboard is not supporting my new RAM?

Motherboard: GA-P55-US3L (rev. 2.1)
RAM: Corsair 2x4GB DDR3 1333Mhz (CMV8GX3M2A1333C9)
OLD ONES: 2x2GB Geil DDR3 1333Mhz (GB34GB1600C9DC)

What I tried:
Tried to place one stick to every memory slot and tried it with the other stick too.
BIOS reset to fail-safe and optimized settings.

Okay, I am working on it, nothing changed for now.
Tried:
Updated BIOS to the newest version.
Memtest stopped working after 3 seconds, nothing happened after.

I don't see those Corsair sticks listed on the approved memory list for that Gigabyte motherboard.

That doesn't mean they shouldn't work, but it's a possibility.

If I may ask, where did you get Windows 7 Enterprise 64 from?

Make sure you are installing the ram in the proper slots as per the motherboard manual.

I'd at least wonder about my motherboard, particularly since you apparently can't get Memtest to run.

Memtest is working with my old rams, even the my PC is working with my old rams. It just die randomly with an BSOD and memtest displays errors on them.

Okay, all I tried to switch the old ones to the new ones, so I don't event tried it together.
With new ones only:
If I place only one stick in, I can't run memtest, coz the PC keeps restarting before listing the hard drives.
If I place both stick in, I can start the memtest, but It stops working after a few sec.

I have a copy of my manual, but I don't think it will help.

You need to be using this program. You download it and burn to a CD/DVD. It will boot and do the tests on your ram before your system ever gets to your C partition and Windows 7. Windows 7 built in memory test isn't worth much.

According to the manual, you should be installing the RAM Modules to the WHITE DDR3_1 and DDR3_3 sockets, that is the first and third in from the front of the case, or the second and fourth from the CPU socket. If you are installing only a SINGLE RAM Module, then install it to either of the sockets I listed. Only if you have 4 RAM Modules (all of the same brand, memory size and specifications) should you put a RAM Module in a Blue Socket.

We are trying to understand your post and yes at times we do get confused.

Your post are all over the place. At this time just test your new ram. Forget about the old ram.
You haven't told me where you got Windows 7 Enterprise.

Try this tutorial.

Once memtest 86 is burnt to a disc it should boot your computer into the test. If it doesn't boot into the test the download or burn is not correct.

Already tried both blue and yellow slots. Still won't explaind, why a single 4GB stick is not working.

You must change your boot order in bios to boot first from a external media.

If you have a CD/DVD or a USB thumb drive with Mem86 on it. With you computer off and the new ram installed. Insert the CD/DVD or thumb drive you have Mem86 and boot.
It should start the Mem86 test.

Let us know when you have read this tutorial.
