I was just thinking about my parents

My dad was born in 1913 so he would have been 101 last month.
My mom was born in 1914 and she would be 100 next month.

Just wondering what they would be thinking about what is going on these days since they died quite a while ago.

Anyone care to share?

My grandfather lived when they plowed fields with mules and lived when we landed on the moon. Now that was a life cycle that seen a lot of things.

My Grandpa was born 1913

My parents both were born in 1920 (it made keeping track of their ages easier). Daddy died in 2007 although strokes took his mind a few years earlier. Mama hung on until late 2008. Daddy was the youngest child in his family to survive to adulthood. His next oldest brother died a year and a half ago at 100; he was still mowing his own lawn; granted, it was on a riding mower but, then again, his "lawn" was a few acres big.

My Father was born in 1908 & my Mother in 1909. Dad was 87 when he died & Mum was 90 when she died.

My 3rd grandson was born on the Third June 2009, exactly 2 days short of 100 years after my Mother & his Great Great Grandmother, who was born on the Fifth June 1909.

My Grandmother, Dad's Mother died just after her 100th birthday.

My Mum was born in 1894 and my Dad 1905, she was 78 when she died and he was 79. Now that's a long time ago.
