BSOD With no Apparent Trend

I've been blue screening and crashing at random times, with no trend as far as I can tell. It sometimes happens when I'm playing games, sometimes when browsing the internet. I also haven't noticed any trends in timing, although after the first crash it's usually followed by a few other crashes. I've done as many hardware checks as I've been able to find, including check disk, memtest86. etc..

Attached are BSOD dump files.

I may have fixed the first two, as I haven't gotten them recently, but the third one just occurred. When I'm not blue screening occasionally my audio stutters and my computer simply shuts down. When researching, it seemed as though the common cause was over heating. However, I don't believe I'm overheating as I installed Core Temp and I never exceed 50 Celsius.

Edit: BSOD'd again. Attached new crash log. Also, after the past two BSOD I hang when booting the first time. When performing the recommended boot fix thing, it said it couldn't fix the problem.

Edit 2: I'm blind. Read the instructions. Attaching the debug log requested

Hi Taniss99.

Can you update the BIOS to Version 1.70?
Get it from ASRock > 970DE3/U3S3

Let us know how it is running after it.

Thanks! Hadn't realized it was out of date. As I mentioned earlier, the rate of crashing is extremely sporadic, so I might not crash for another few hours. But if/when I do, I'll post again.

Crashed again. No blue screen or error, just lost all input to my monitors. The computer was still on and lit up, with sounds of running, but no access to it as far as I could tell. This is after patching the BIOS

Observe whether it continues or not. A stray display crash without any BSOD record can be treated as immaterial, but if it becomes frequent it must be troubleshooted.

I can confirm that it is not a solitary event, and the update to my BIOS may have made the crashes more frequent, although I'm working from a smaller datapool, as my computer has been online less total time since the BIOS update.

My 2 cents Tanis mate run this just for elimination purposes

Using HW Info

You can test the volts on the PSU with HWInfo HWiNFO, HWiNFO32/64 -Download < download the right bit version andclose the right hand window select Sensors and scroll down to the power sectionwhere you will see what the volts are doing see my pic.

The original right hand window shows themachine running and is handy for that but for looking at the components in some detail close it and use themain left hand side panel

FOR OTHER COMPONENTS

Open each + down into the componentitself and then click on it - in theright hand side will appear all sorts of details including brands speeds andother essential info that device. See pic for example.

Downloaded it and took a look, not sure what I'm doing with all the information though. Took a screenshot of the same section, so maybe you can tell me what I'm looking for/what not.

In the mean time, I BSOD twice more. Once just randomly, the second time right after getting to the windows 7 login screen. Both claimed to create dump files, but I don't see either log in C:\Windows\MiniDump

Oop, a third BSOD in the past half hour - lucky me. This time I did get a dump file for anyone that knows what to look for.

Odd note, I my computer skipped ahead 2 hours and 5 minutes, may have occurred earlier, not sure. Noticed it at 4 am est, but computer claimed it was 6:05

Hmm that looks like a very strange readout for the power supply can you scroll down and see if there are any sections that list the 3.3 , 5 and 12v levels? The section you are looking for should be very similar to mine.
If you can't find anything that gives the main voltages used you may need to uninstall HW and reinstall it. If the same thing happens again then you may need to go in with a digital multimeter - NOT an analogue one as they inject volts into a system for taking measurements.
See this http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/301799-psu-test-dc-output-voltage.html

volts should be within +/- 5% of stated value.

I'm still blue screening, with two more BSODs, each with a new error code. Don't know what to make of them.
I had a day or so without any blue screens where just before I had reinstalled the majority of my drivers, but that evidently didn't work as I just blue screened repeatedly recently. I wasn't doing anything different during that time as far as I know, as well. And I'm fairly certain it's not a heat issue, as during that time my heat was higher than it normally is, as the other day the outside temperature was extraordinarily hot, and now I have the AC on. But none of this actually indicates the the problem actually is.
