Does anyone have details of when the Wake is? I live about 35 miles south of Lafayette IN and if I was having a good day could drive up and pay my respects. Not Thu AM as I have an appointment but otherwise I'm free. (No not The Official John Inman Web Site: Welcome type free).

Dennis said 2 days ago "Just talked to Pam and Gary's ashes will be available on Monday or Tuesday with the wake following on Wednesday." No mention of any ceremony per se. A Guy

Wow just now seeing this as I hadn't checked the board in a couple of days. Anyway Gary was good people and we always got along. He always had good things to say and always provided solid advice here. Sad news and sorry to see him gone. Condolences to the family.

Pam has contacted me by Personal Message about the memorial wake and my wife Tammy is taking me up there to pay my respects when she gets home from work this evening. It is something I want to do. I am positive once my health improved I would have met and chatted with Gary and swapped advice tips etc like we did on-line. it is about a 45 mins drive and with the weather as nice as it is it will be pleasant.
Mowing the lawn can wait another day. I just start the lawn mower and that about does me in for the day.

Your humour and irreverence always tickled my funny bone.

Just wanted to give a BIG thank you to all of you on the Forums as I know in one way or another you were here with us last night for his Memorial. You all were such a big part of his life that I know he is and will always be with each and every one of you. I wont be able to get on the computer after Friday as I have a funeral to attend on Saturday in Illinois for a very deer that pasted on Monday. My Love lives through you all with Gary. My thoughts and prayers go out to Pam and the rest of the family. Gary was a very important part of Seven Forums and a very close friend to me. Both Seven Forums and I will miss Gary very much. A part of Gary will live on in Pam and each and every one of us that knew him well here. That speaks very highly of anyone. Gary is gone now, but never forgotten. We will all miss you Gary, in the Forums as well as our daily lives. May God bless you and all of your family. You were a great example of the way people should be. You are missed and still loved by many.
