Well I am going to build a gaming pc rig and not buying a dvd optical drive at all just to save some money. So I made a bootable Windows 7 Ultimate x64 USB because my rig has 8gb ram. So continue I made one on a 32 bit and I was wondering if there will be any incompatibilities like it somehow installs a 32 bit on a computer with 8gb of ram or something. So I was wondering if something will happen and if there will be any type of problem of any how, I'm really worried about this because I'm going to be building my pc on August 1st, so yeah please help me out here. :S

Not sure I follow you, but I assume you mean that you have 2 different Windows 7 installation USB drives: one would install 32-bit Windows and the other would install 64-bit Windows.

You can install either. If you install the 32-bit version, Windows will recognize only about 3.2 GB of RAM.

It doesn't matter whether you used a 32-bit or 64-bit machine to make the installation media. What matters is whether the ISO you used is the 32-bit version or the 64-bit version.

I used windows 7 usb dvd download tool. And a Windows 7 ISO. How can I tell if it's x64 just by looking in the files.

If I remember correctly the x64 should be about 3.2gb, the x86 is less.

If you used the 64 bit iso then it will install the 64 bit version of windows.

As stated in post #2

Same thing if you burned the 64 bit iso to dvd.

Do you have a W7 Ultimate key for activation, when the time comes ?

Not sure why your icon is lookin like that, should look like this. But the files look fine.

Now remember, when you go to use that flash drive, don`t change the boot order in the Bios, just use the one time boot key to choose the flash drive, if not it will just keep booting from the flash drive over and over and you`ll never get done LOL ;)

Nothing left to do now but try it out :D

That looks good to me. I used Universal USB Installer, not Rufus and it complained about trying to create a 64bit flash drive on a 32 bit system. Rufus looks like it handled it so you should be okay.

Easy enough to check, just boot it.

Strange, I have a flashdrive with an all in one flashdrive of windows 7. It has around 30 versions of 32 and 64 bit on it, My other flash drive is a 20 in 1 win8 with 32 and 64 bit versions also, both have been used plenty of times for installing and repairing window's pc's. I made a tutorial a while back if you want to watch it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hf-Lj6J3QFo
