Merging Windows 7 onto bigger SSD

Hi,

I have bought a bigger and maybe also a bit faster SSD, I have successfully installed my Windows 7 on it but now I am wondering if there is a way to kind of merge the personal files from my old SSD onto the bigger one?

Any answer is welcome.

You can of course copy the data from the old SSD. If you want to do a real merge, you have to use a sync program. But I recommend to do that with a copy of all the data (old and new). Sync pograms can produce results that you did not expect.

So I just what, double click my current "Local Disk C:" and press ctrl+a ctrl+c and move over to the new SSD and press ctrl+v?

I would right click on the folders and 'Copy' and then 'Paste' them to the new disk. CTL+C and CTL+V works too but is a bit unusual.

Um, you know right that they mean the same thing? xD

Yes they do. I just think that Copy/Save is safer.
