Hi,

I'm trying to schedule task a video to play every 5 minutes as minimised,
ie wmplayer wildfife. If you're wondering, its to stop the screensaver kicking in ( im not permitted to change it)

So playing wmplayer minimised prevents this (and it works too)
On a loop is fine, but I think its a waste of CPU.
I'm wondering if its better to play wildlife.wmv minimised once only every 5 minutes, then shut down video - Im not sure if this is going to work.
So what I need is a means of doing this. "/min" doesnt seem to work. Plus, wmplayer doesnt seem to unload - process always running.

Thanks

Hi,

Would the pop up (albeit minimised) not be more annoying than the screensaver as the screensaver will only start when you haven't done anything for x amount of minutes but your task is going to run regardless.

Another thing is security, when the screensaver kicks in i'm guessing the copmputer also locks and you have to enter your password, if you forget to lock your computer it would never lock giving people access to your computer.

Regards,
Jamie

No, I'd be happy with this ... its a virtualbox thingy, so I pop into it every once so often. Thanks very much anyway, appreciated.
