Dowgrading windows 8.1 to windows 8 using "REFRESH" in recovery menu

Hi, i do want to downgrade back to windows 8 (the os which originally came up with my laptop) from windows 8.1. There's just to many problems with 8.1 like slowing up when booting, lagging up in games like fps drops suddenly and other system lag. I saw someone one youtube that says you can go back to windows 8 using "refresh" option which can be found on "update and recovery" on pc settings in the cham bars. Its says it wont affect my files but when i press next it says i need to install the apps in the list after i refresh, i dont care about the files that i downloaded in the internet like "steam, utorrent, games" but other files like windows C++ acer drivers ,intel drivers, touchpad drivers

ill attach some image

should i downloaded them first or will they be left untouch on my laptop or will they be downloaded automatically in windows update?

i dont know if its the right section to post this thread if its not please just move it to the right section :)

Best to use the OEM manufacturer's Recovery DVD's or USB drive.

   Information

We always assume you have made your Recovery Disks using the OEM manufacturer's Recovery Media Creator app the first day you had your new PC.
& made the Startup Repair CD. (Windows 8 only)
Recovery Drive - Create with USB Flash Drive in Windows 8
System Repair Disc - Create in Windows 8 (Windows 8 only)

I would recommend you making the OEM manufacturer's Recovery DVD's or USB drive.
or
You can order the Microsoft official OEM Recovery disks from the OEM manufacturer's website.

hi can i use this as drivers back up ? im currently putting it in my external hard drive
i dont want to create factory default backup because it will delete all files in my external harddrive. And it also point out in "refresh" option that it only need the drivers so i dont need to make os backup right?

A Windows 8 Recovery USB/DVD will Refresh or Reset a PC installed with Windows 8 using the OEM Windows 8 Recovery Partition.

A Windows 8.1 Recovery USB/DVD will not Refresh or Reset a PC installed with Windows 8 using the OEM Windows 8 Recovery Partition.

Windows 8 is a old OS, Windows 8.1 is the NEW OS.
