now only if they change how virus definition updates are gone out.. not through windows update would be nice because it stores a zillion updates in the history clogging up space and not being able to tell the other updates apart from the virus updates

Nice! Even thought I still recommend ESET over MSE.
I guess since its final and free, it'll be my new recommended free antivirus.
Best free antivirus: Microsoft security essentials
Best free firewall: PC tools firewall plus
