heres my new case! This case is just udderly amazing! the thing weighs 25lbs empty! it is almost all beefy metal incredibly quiet, looks amazing, and very sleek. idk about cooling performance yet. what im looking for however is braided gpu wires and braided 24pin wires. anyone know where i can get those adapters for my current PSU?

Congrats for the new case!! You can either buy NZXT braided cables or the Bitfenix ones.

I'll go for Bitfenix even if they do are more priced only because the sleeving is more smooth than the Nzxt. Indeed, I went through a little troubleshooting with my NZXT braided EPS 8pin (for CPU Power) most because of my watercooling 240 Rad is too near the CPU header on the motherboard and the cables do are too stiff to bend without forcing a little on the header.

That one i'll change for Bitfenix when I got fund for a new set.

PS:
NZXT are mostly 25 Centimeters (but some are longer) while the Bitfenix have a 45 Centimeters length in general.

Looks good Noober, try these if that is what you're looking for. almost any color. Amazon.com: nzxt cable extensions: Electronics I've bought a ton of the NZXT ones and never had a problem. Maybe I'll try Bitfinix, I never have used them.

thanks guys! well GPU cooling performance is.... well, horrible. before in my old case, gpu temp would hit 72C under max load. now its throttleing at 75C. this is because of the 3 weak fans upfront, constricted dust filter, and constricted front panel.

I might be mistaken here, but I believe the H440 only comes out in black with red trim or white with black trim. But isn't that what the paint section in hardware stores is there for...?

I stand corrected.. Looking at the "similar items" on Amazon it seems the H440 actually comes in a whole range of colours. The only pics on NZXT's site are black/red and white/black, kinda deceptive in that sense.

White orange and red it comes in. Idk, I just liked the red one. The issue I'm having is that despite 2 120mm and 1 140mm in the front, no air comes in because of the restrictive front panel, so I have to mod it and see if I can get it to work better. GPU temps shot up to 78c. When I took just the front panel off, it was at 69C

I need to put seperators between the fan mount and the actual fan to avoid choking the fans. Idk how tho. I ended up taking the foam out of the front panel to have more airflow, noise didn't increase much at all.

That front panel is choking your airflow. The Corsair 750D has the same issue. There is a huge thread on that very subject over on the Corsair forums; Corsair is currently designing a new front panel to correct the problem. There is a video out that uses a candle to show how much more airflow the 750D has without its front panel installed.

A few things you can try:

1. Removing the front panel to see what effect that has on temps. If that helps, modding the front panel may be in order.

2. If it isn't already, make the rear fan for the radiator an intake instead of an exhaust. That may mitigate the airflow restriction of the front. It will also bring air cooler than the inside of the case through the radiator. One can always add a filter to the rear of the case if dust is an issue. Also, make sure that fan is a high quality high static pressure fan. Adding a second fan for push-pull operation might help some more (I wouldn't hold my breath on that one).

3. Reversing one or more of the top fans might help with airflow (that one is a bit iffy though). Closing off the open space in front of the top fans may also help a bit (that one has a better chance of making a difference).

I also forgot to add you could try Corsair sp120 or 140 fans

Corsair does make some 140mm case fans (which are airflow fans) but they don't make an SP140. The only static pressure fan Corsair makes is the SP120 (pity, that).
