Hello!

Looking at these cards there is a bit of a price difference, the MSI is £479 and the ASUS is £299.
The MSI does have better specifications than the ASUS so in performance I would go with the MSI. Although for value for money the ASUS is very good! So if I was just going for performance I would choose the MSI but if I wanted value for money then the ASUS is the one I would go for! :)

If you're thinking of spending £479 on a GPU you should be getting a 980.

Sorry to burst your bubble but he was after 970GTX for MSI and ASUS.

I see your Dilemma BigTabs, they are very similar in design and very similar in specifications, the TwinFrozr MSI is a little bit overclocked compared to the Asus Strix but lots of people right now appear to be choosing the strix over the TwinFrozr, why? reliability, the asus badge, a lovely owl on the box, who knows, but people seem to speak in volume over this subject, pricing, the TwinFrozr MSI will set you back around £289 and the Asus Strix will set you back £299, so £10 difference.....

Just really Cant pick between the two there both great.

I have the Asus Maximus VII Hero so trying to keep that red & black theme.

But like i said trying to pick between these cards is hard considering the price nearly being the same obviously the msi is higher in clock performance...

Been reading also peeople suggesting the the single power connector on the asus GPU could limit the OC potential...

Asus im loving the design plus the back plate.... But same goes for the MSI love the design and the out of the box performance.....

So i'm sorta stuck in a Loop in which one is the best

I would go for the MSI:

1 - It looks super cool! Matches the colour scheme you've already got
2 - Out of box performance is slightly better than the ASUS
3 - Its £10 cheaper!

So yeah! :)

I was wondering why there was a £200 difference between the cards. That'll teach me to read posts properly.
