According to what I see on another post about the PCEE, you must first reinstall your sound drivers.

Ok so I disable + uninstall my sound drives then install dolby then install the sound drives?
Or uninstall and then install again and then dolby?
Cuz I did both and it didn't seem to work

Just install the correct sound driver from Acer. Restart the PC and then install the Dolby. See if that works.

Reinstalling the sound drivers is what fixed several, doing a google search for the PCEE problem.

after reinstalling my sound driver I ran into another problem, now when ever i connect headphones it doesn't turn off the speaker and switch to the headphones, it plays both together.
Also when I try to uninstal and reinstall my sound card hoping to fix this problem my speaker icon has a red cross on it and won't install anymore

Unfortunately, with the problems you have, it may require a complete reinstall.
