Hello erveryone, since yesterday I have a strange problem. My computer was running all day like usual until it suddenly crashed. (Couldn't open applications, not even ctrl + alt + del). It still semed kinda active unlike the usual freezes. The mouse symbol still shows the turning wheel for waiting. My PC is around 2,5 years old and nothing happened so far. It was running just fine until yesterday. When I make a forced restart (during the semi freeze) it sais that no detectable drive can be found. When I turn off the PC completly everything runs fine again. But the errors won't stop. When I was outside yesterday and came back in, the PC restarted itself and all it showed again that the drive couldn't be found. Windows included memory tests and harddrive tests show no errors. Crystal Disc Info shows no errors either. When the computer crushed this morning, dropbox crushed before saying:

The instruction at 0x0... referenced memory at 0x00... The required data was not placed into memory because of an I/O error status of 0xc000000e. I wonder what's wrong all of a sudden. I hope you have a clue.

Maybe the power supply?

P.S: Sorry for my english

There is no crash dumps in the supplied zip. You did not complete the bugcheck code too. I guess the bugcheck code ends with 7A?

0xC000000E is the second argument for a stop 0x7A, that means STATUS_NO_SUCH_DEVICE and explains as "A device that does not exist was specified". It explains the fact that the SSD is not being detected, as you reported.

Is the SSD not detected till now? Boot into the BIOS and see if it being detected there. It should be.

Also make it sure that the SSD is running with the latest firmware. For teh M$, it should be version 070H.

Let us know the situation.

Yesterday I put the SSD into another PC as primary drive, with no other drives connected. After around an hour windows froze (we tried it twice, it froze twice). When I rebooted it recognized the SSD instantly unlike my PC.
I read of a firmware bug in 0009 which my SSD had. I also exceeded the 5000 operating hours by far, which triggers the bug. I'm not sure yet if this helps, since I almost have 6000 hours operating time and the problems just started at the weekend. I will see in the next hours. Wish me luck :p

EDIT: The SSD always gets recognized again after a full power circle. I think it won't detect it at first, because I force it to shut down during a freeze.

Well done. Power cycling is always a good choice for a SSD.

Make it sure that it is running with the latest firmware. That is also a must.
