Hi,

I'm struggeling with an annoying BSOD in conjunction with an USB3 extension card.
My PC is a little bit older ASUS P6T SE, with no USB3 build on board.
Hence I installed a USB3 extension card with Fresco chipset and almost instantly after installing the the drivers I got a BSOD.
Those BSODs kept coming mostly after standby, but sometime while working the system crashed without showing an BSOD.

So I thougt this would be a bad driver and updated it.
Same result, would say even worse.

Googeling Fresco and BSOD, I got loads of results and therefore I dumped the card and bought a VIA USB3 extension card.

What should I say, same results.

I can definitly isolate the problem to USB3 as the system runs perfectly without it.

After googleing for weeks now and trying everything I could think of, I'm asking for support.
I attached the dump and system information and would appreciate any help.

Thanks
Mic

PS: Sometime I read, that problems occured, when having an SSD installed. I got a Samsung SSD 840

3 days, no BSOD! I suppose it's fixed

Thanks a lot.

Would you mind exposing your magic?
What tools did you use, to determine it's AiCharger?
There are much older drivers in the system than 2010.

Thanks again
Mic
