Found out today that Microsoft has, unfortunately, cancelled production of Streets and Trips that I used a lot on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. Very disappointed as I used it at home, and on the road to plan and alter trips, a lot of the time with no internet connect available . My 2011 version will continue to work for some time, but I was looking forward to picking up a 2015 version. Woe is me!!!

If this post is in the wrong place, my apologies!!

A viable alternative is Delorme Street Atlas, can even get a USB GPS receiver to use with it. I have both Streets and Trips and Street Atlas but haven't tried the Microsoft GPS receiver with Street Atlas yet, or vice versa.

Another alternative is Microsoft's MapPoint but it is being discontinued this month.
Microsoft MapPoint - Home
I have it also [got it free] but haven't installed it yet.

one of my previous version of Streets came with a GPS dongle that attached to a window, etc. Worked ok, but that about the time I picked up an early Magellan Gps so I didn't really use it.
