Hey folks, this whole issue began when I was transporting my pc. Issue began as the PC not being able to boot with more than 1 stick of ram in (I have 4x2gig) and without removing the sticks I recieved a solid red BIOS light, I have removed all sticks and tested them at a 3rd party with no issues. Once I transported the pc back home, it started working with all 4 sticks of RAM but with an unreliable chance for the motherboard to detect the USB keyboard and mouse, also the speakers stopped working suddenly forcing a reinstall of the drivers.

I have tried running the PC with an identical but different gfx card to no avail.

The specs:

M4A88T - M
Phenom II X6 1090T 3.2Ghz
4x2 gig G-Skill Pi
GTX 770 Phantom 4gig
OCZ-Vertex2 SSD 120g
Samsung spinpoint 1Tb

Windows 7 professional 64bit

Here are my dump files

Also speed fan is reading:

+3.3V: 3.34V
+5V: 6.85V
+12V: 12.67V
-12V: -8.99V
-5V: 4.05V

Not sure if it is reading very wrong due to the motherboard or my PSU is entirely forked.

Update: I've run sfc/scannow, and it has come up that it has detected corrupted files that it cannot replace, I'll try again in safe mode and post results, although the PSU is still getting the same readings.
And yes I know speed fan is not the most accurate for voltage readings but I am without a physical way of testing the PSU.

Update 2: Tried launching in safe mode and discovered that it stops loading consistently at ...windows/atipcie. I've tried to load the windows CD from startup and it hangs at 100%

Re-run MemTest86+, but this time do it for 8 consecutive passes.

Ran memtest, on the 2nd pass it came up with thousands of errors. Beginning to think it might be the motherboard saddles themselves, trying to replicate using 1 stick at a time and shuffling along. I'll be in touch.

Tested the slots using 1 stick. 1st and 3rd slots boot and mem test shows no issues with 3 passes. 2 and 4 do not, now curious if this is standard with this motherboard requiring 1 stick in slot 1 to make 2 work, or 1 in 3 to make 4 work. I'm doubtful but there is not too much info on the M4A88T-M floating about. I'm most likely wrong but there is always a chance.

Buut if the slots are ruined (and so negating 2 of my 4 sticks) I would rather replace the motherboard instead of compromise and throw out 2 good sticks. Are there any about the forums with any insight into a compatible motherboard that can run G-Skill Pi, and an AMD Phenom II X6? Replacing the CPU would be the very last resort. (Bloody expensive for both)

You need to test all the RAM DiMM's in slot 1 using 8 passes - 3 passes is insufficient.

The RAM is fine. Definitely the slots are the issue.

The RAM is fine. Definitely the slots are the issue.
In that case, the only thing you can do is to replace the motherboard.

May I make a suggestion before you replace the motherboard.

Check the tightness of the fasteners holding down the cpu cooler.
I have had bad ram slot reading if these fasteners are to tight.
It can put a over amount of strain on the motherboard.

Good to know Bear, although I'm using a coolermaster which uses a lever system to attach onto the CPU, so a bit stuck there.
