Why hello again! Feels like I am on here often. For a reason my computers like to BSOD.

I was working on the computer last night then went to bed. Came back to PC this morning to a unresponsive mouse. Rebooted and got a BSOD once it hit the desktop. Rebooted.

Got it to work for about 10mins. BSOD again. Rebooted. Scanned with Malwarebytes and MSE quick scan; nothing found. Started to read about it on my cellphone and read it was affecting idling computers so I started a full Antivirus scan because it will take a while.

NO BSOD AS THE SCAN RUNS RIGHT NOW.

Tried analyzing the dump files with WinDbg but I dont really know what I am doing so I'll let you guys handle this.

I included here the DM Log Collector file it saved. Hope you guys have everything needed. Waiting on your reply. I will start a new antivirus Scan when this one ends so the computer stays alive!

Thanks.

While waiting I did some research on my side. I noticed during the day that my mouse was acting weird. Side buttons werent working and the wheel wasnt working either. Thought it was because I was downloading its new driver while operating the mouse. (BSOD started before I updated its driver today).

I actived the Driver Verifier and checked all the boxes but Microsofts, Macromedia and Unknowns then rebooted. BSOD occured before loading the desktop 3 times in a row but with the different error than the original one. Google it on my phone. Happened to be the mouse driver that was faulty.

Booted in safemode to deactive Driver Verifier then booted normally. Completed the mouse driver update. So far so good, no BSOD even when just navigating the web. I'll come back tomorrow once the computer will have idled overnight.

The actual file that caused the BSOD was Speecy. Speecy must have gotten involved with an unknown driver. Witch in this case is the Mouse driver.

Makes sense. Speccy was open everytime it crashed because I wanted to see if it could have been a thermal issue over hardware stuff.

Thanks, I'll be back if it does it again.

Bringing back an old thread of mine!

Just started doing it one hour ago. Have crashed about 12 times now. Reupdated my mouse then enabled Driver Verifier. It said my mouse driver caused it. I uninstalled Speccy just to try since it was apparently the culprit of my old BSOD problems.

Still crashes.

I will boot in Safe Mode w/ networking and try to post a dump file.

Need yo' help guys!
Thanks.

K. Crashes in Safe Mode as well. Couldnt make it far enough to even zip the dump files.

All I have is a cellphone pic of the BSOD screen even if I dont think it would help in anyway. View attachment 345843

Okay, the Driver Verifier problem isnt the mouse. It is the Razer Overlay driver. Uninstall it if you have a chance. Have you overclocked? Because the 0x101 is a overclock related issue.
In the overclock BSOD the Nividia Stream program was invovled.
Before you remove Nividia Stream make sure you are not overclocked. If you are overclocked then reset overclock settings.
Report back if anything happens.

I havent overclocked anything. Dont even know how.

I just googled what was the nVidia Stream and ended up on a thread about guys getting BSODs. One of them said disabling the service solved it. Cause I think that program is part of the GeForce Experience which is included in the GPU driver.

Talking about GPU drivers, mine is outdated. Could it be related?

I managed to boot and quickly head to the Services list then STOP the NvStreamSvc. So far so good, no BSOD yet.

I still havent updated my GPU driver though. Should I try?

Also, could you briefly explain to me how you found out it was nVidia Stream app in my dump files? I must have BSOD issues every 3 to 4 months and I'd like to be able to see whats wrong in the next ones lol.

Thank you sir, waiting for your return.
