Unpowered PC Got Hit By Stuffed Animal

Well, a family member accidentally threw a stuffed animal on the right side of my PC. Thankfully, the hard drive is on the left side. Could this have caused any physical damage? I have done a chkdsk and a SMART test and it seems okay. All fans are functional and the computer is as fast as usual. I have not checked internally but I know nothing is loose as no sounds of anything loose is heard. Am I being too worrying, or could a problem eventually happen? It didn't hit the computer hard enough to make a noise.

Yes, it's possible, especially if the side that was hit has a dent in it. That side covers what would be the bottom side of the motherboard. Some cases have a brace between the board and the cover but could be dented enough to touch the pins that stick out of the board and cause issues. Some cases don't have that side as removable and some do.

No signs of damage on the outside is visible, maybe I am being paranoid as it is only a soft stuffed animal, except it does have a button inside to make a sound, but I know it didn't hit the PC with that part.

You would need to vigorously bang on it repeatedly for a stuffed toy to do any damage, let alone cause large enough dent to protrude on the motherboard.

Well, I guess I am overreacting. Everything seems to be fine both software side and hardware side. I will leave unsolved in case anyone has any different thoughts though.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it unless the operation of the computer has changed. I seriously doubt a stuffed animal could do any damage. I've done worse than that to mine, and it still runs fine.

I don't know a lot about stuffed toys but what little I do know about them is; if it didn't knock the case over or move it their shouldn't be any damage. Unless their was something very loose already in the computer.
