As far as the performance is concerned it's pretty good considering it was the cheapest 980 in the UK by a long way. It doesn't look so bad if you look at it from the bottom but the side on it's pretty ugly, just plain black plastic. No nice lights or color or anything. I can live with that. I just don't look at it much lol.

Ya I was just showing this to a buddy I work with. We both are not the type of people who care what the inside looks like. Performance or design > looks. Function is key. And those removable fans are cool. Plus it sounds like it's quiet and efficient out the box. I'm not a "ooooo look how pretty the inside looks" lol. My case is on the bottom level of my desk. And not turned to the side either. Lol.

They are part of the Palit group, so the card in the UK is Gainward, in the US it's Palit. There may be cosmetic differences but supposedly they are the same card.

Ya I looked for Palit too. No go there either. Like I said, interesting card... Cool design... But looks like us US cats are left in the cold with those particular cards.

One could doll up the black plastic side with carbon fiber or some kind of decal or sticker. I can see a string of Gru's Minions running along the side...

Actually, those do look kinda sweet and they come with their own backplates. I never saw the point of making them look so fancy on the side that no one ever sees much of (unless they are really, really short).

Nar Lady F. Due to the fans sliding out from the side for cleaning there is no big area at all. I suppose you could apply it but it would have to be in 4 parts and would be pretty tricky to apply. I can live with it. Looks aren't everything I guess lol.

It sounds like it would be the ideal card for you Master Turkey. It's a shame it's not available where you live.

It's certainly a big old card! It's a triple slot monster. The design is very different to any GPU I have had in the past.

Essenbe has the EVGA Classified 980 and Solar the Gigabyte G1. Both of them clock higher than mine but thankfully I have a better CPU so I beat them in the benchmarks........for now!

It's a Beast alright and very cool on top of it

So far all the games that i've thrown at it has pounded them down convincingly

I got something today to go with my 980 Classified. I just hope it works. I really lucked out too. It comes with a copy of McAfee. Boy did I get something good.

It would be hard to pass up that motherboard when it comes with McAfee.

Steve I believe that motherboard comes with M.2 ssd. If that is correct are you going to give it a try?

The case is finished but I haven't had time (or energy) to do the swap yet.
