Recently I have been getting unusual BSoDs while trying to sign in from sleep mode or shortly after sleep mode. The first time this happened, it told me that the hibernation driver malfunctioned causing the BSoD, this time I don't know what it is telling me. Apparently there were a few other BSoDs too when I was at school and family were trying to use the computer.

I have a gaming keyboard, and it has backlit sections. After the BSoD, I restarted and now my PC seems to be working fine, but the top and lefthand sections are unlit (F keys, ESC, etc.). They work properly, but I thought I should just mention this.

I had multiple issues with this computer (custom built) from the getgo, but I found out that the first hard drive I had was bad. After replacing it, I haven't had any troubles at all for about the past 4-5 months. These blue screens are the first signs of any troubles I may have, so being cautious I just wanted to see if they are something normal or if I should be concerned.

I have attached the ZIP file that was made while using DM log collector.

Hi WiredHF.

Your motherboard is a Gigabyte retail one.
Code:
SystemManufacturer = Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
SystemProductName = Z97-HD3
But it is OEM license of Lenovo.
Code:
Product ID: 00426-OEM-8992662-00497
Only possible with hackers activation exploitation which makes your windows installation counterfeit. And a counterfeit windows installation is not any worthy for troubleshooting. It is subject to BSODs and other issues.

If the activation exploitation is done without your knowledge, ask the system builder to rectify it and give you genuine windows. If the exploitation is done by yourself, get genuine windows and expect a trouble free OS.

I purchased a license when I first purchased the parts, and installed it. After having some issues with it, about 6-7 months ago, I took it to a computer repair shop and they told me that they replaced the hard drive and reinstalled windows. They said that it was a legit copy of windows so they obviously ****ed me over.

If you have a purchased license already, do a clean reinstall and activate the installation with your existing license. See how it goes. Let us know for any further issue.

It is an OEM copy because that's all I could find when I built my computer. Will it still work fine reinstalling it on the computer that currently has the apparent stolen license?

We dont discuss on those, forum rules are very precise on it:
4) No piracy or discussion of piracy allowed at all. Such as software, music, videos and other intellectual property violations (e.g. downloading youtube videos locally etc).
If your computer anyhow has a stolen license, we cannot help you anymore. You know why.

Yes, you can reinstall your purchased OEM Windows on the same PC and activate it using the license key that came with the disc.

You MIGHT even be able to just change the product key to the one that came with your purchased OEM Win 7 to make your OS legit.
The current "stolen" version and your purchased "legit" version must be the same, such as Home Premium, Professional, etc.

Activation by changing the product key to legit on an existing counterfeit windows installation is not recommended on a BSODing computer. A clean install will be needed there to make it sure that the system services/elements are not acting up.

Thank you for being SOOO helpful, because I totally didn't state that I was trying to change to a legit copy or anything, nope you just want to live in your little rulebook.
