Solved HP 2000 series notebook can't make logical partition

Hi, so i wanted to make a new partition, only to find that HP had already used them all up, so i tried to follow your guy's make a logical partition guide, however when booting into the partition manager, it said that it doesn't support windows server

how do i fix this? (all specs should be listed in the specs thing)

Please post a screen shot of Disk Management in your computer.

Also, just noticed that you list Malwarebytes as your antivirus program. Malwarebytes is not an antivirus program. You should reallyinstall one.

What works best to keep Recovery and Tools partitions bootable with HP is to convert C to Logical, then shrink it to add as many adjacent Logical partitions as you want. You can use Partition Wizard home edition to do this if the bootable is not cooperating. Partition Wizard

i actually do have one (Microsoft security essentials) just didn't realize i could include more then one program, will fix

Are you using Partition Wizard ?

I`ve gotten that message, but only when I tried to actually use it on Server, not sure why you are getting it.

yes, i tried using the bootable version, set it up on my flash drive, however after choosing the video settings, i got a message saying "This software will not work with windows server"

even though this most certainly isn't windows server, and is in fact windows 7 home premium
