Hello, fine men and women of sevenforums.

What you are seeing here today is a man's steady progression from sanity to complete, unadulterated madness.

All was good and well in my PC until the fateful day someone decided to unplug my house's modem for a mere 30 seconds. Now, this is usually, if anything, a FIX to people's internet problems, therefore, your guesses are as good as mine as to why it completely obliterated every shred of hope I have.

I believe my adapter is called the "RangeMax(tm) NEXT Wireless Adapter WN311B".

I have tried just about every fix I can think of, yet the problem persists. My computer is incapable of holding a steady connection with my home's wifi network. At some points in the day, it is impossible to even connect to the network. Other times, it just BARELY seems to connect, and fittingly, it can BARELY complete any basic task. For the most part, it says it's connected, yet shows no actual signs of being so (as in, it can't load ANYTHING). Beyond that, when it is connected and functional, it sporadically will disconnect completely from the network only to rejoin, say, ten seconds later. As I'm sure you all understand, this is incredibly frustrating.

As I said, I have tried several things to get it all back in tip-top shape. I have started, of course, with a simple reboot. I have completely reset my router's settings as well as changing the radio channel it operates on. Nothing changes. From that point on, I knew that the problem was solely with my computer, and that the rest of the computers on the network were able to use the wifi connection perfectly normally. From there, I uninstalled my wireless adapter and deleted the drivers, then re-installed the hardware and drivers. Then I became both lost and enraged, like a feral ape who just escaped his exhibit at the zoo. I daintily removed all the wires connected to my PC and threw it overhead at the wall. But alas, still not fixed!

In conclusion, I'm really losing it here, folks.

Hey, possible to try that card in another PC?
Did you try Safe Mode with Networking?

Just tried safe mode, but no dice, unfortunately.
I may be able to try the card in another PC, but it would be painfully inconvenient, i.e, driving over to a friend's place and using his computer, so I'm sure you understand I would like to exhaust all other options first, if possible.

P.S. sorry for the delay between posts, as I have to wait for the connection to start up for a little while to get my post in.

Try:
- Load defaults in BIOS (first screen or exit menu)
- Clean startup http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...ation-conflicts-performing-clean-startup.html
- Scan with MiniToolBox Download
- Run Tweaking.com - Windows Repair
- Uninstall AV

I'm still working my way through the list, but so far I have restored defaults in my BIOS menu and uninstalled my AV. I also ran the MiniToolBox. Would you like me to post specific pieces of the txt file recieved from running MiniToolBox?
