I have Build 6801, that I do know. I also had no audio driver problems on installation, it worked perfectly fine until I ran the Blue Badge patch and restarted. I also searched, and I found at least one other person reporting this problem.
Hello Doubleblack,
Have you already tried running the Blue Badge tool again and locking the protected features back to see if that helps?

Yes I did, using the .bat file, however I don't know how to put them back.Did you keep a backup of the original files?
Great idea, I'll try that!Hello Doubleblack,

I wonder if you can use the new version over the old version, would this be safe? When can we expect this new version?Shawn,
Rafael`s tool doesn't unpatch or backup the original files
He is releasing a new version today that uses a new technique to address a few issues and the new version will also backup the files![]()

Shawn,
You were confusing the "Blue Badge Tool" with the "Unlock Protected Features" tool. However I did re-run the Blue Badge Tool again, and still no audio![]()

Well first I'm going to wait until the rumored new version drops today, and then I'll try!Yep, you're right. Not enough sleep again.
You can do as Steven posted and replace the patched files with the backup files. You may need to Take Ownership of them first before you can replace them though with the backups.
