My desktop's computer clock just decided today that it wanted to start running faster.
I've sync'd it several times but it keeps picking up about 1 minute per hour.
Any ideas on how to stop this?

Probably a silly suggestion, but have you got your location set correctly.

Yes. The location/time are correct.
The motherboard battery is recent.

I searched some other sites and found that uninstalling the most recent Flash update, then changing the time/location to another setting, then resetting it correctly, then reinstalling flash seems to work for others. I tried that last night and it seemed to work. This is really strange.

Thanks for your input.

I left my computer on all night (after doing the Flash replacement) and the time was fine this morning. I had no applications running. I thought the problem was solved.

Then this morning I opened some programs I normally leave open all day, came back in one hour and the clock was 4 minutes fast again! The latest software change prior to the flash update was to update AOL Desktop from 9.7 to 9.8 so now I'm rolling that back to 9.7 to see if that may be the culprit.

After reverting back to AOL Desktop 9.7 (from 9.8 released along with WIN 10) my WIN 7 clock has now stabilized with all my normal software open, including AOL. Interesting.

I did not know that AOL was still making software.

...and apparently, not very well :-)

They have maintained their Desktop software and if you do use AOL mail or visit their site (I know many don't anymore) going in through their software is by far superior to going in through a browser window. Just can't recommend newest version 9.8 from my recent experience. Sticking with 9.7 on WIN 7. Now maybe it works OK with WIN 10, but I'll wait for feedback from others on that.
